Maximum depth of cut using a standard 7 ¼" blade circular saw (different brand saws will vary slightly) - Universal Trolley 1¾"; EZ Smart 1-inch.
Convenient clamping system - Tool Trolley Rail Clamp enables attachment at the end, on the side, and across the center of a work piece. Maximum thickness of the work piece is 2 ½". EZ Smart can only clamp from the end of a work piece. Maximum thickness of the work piece is 2¼".
Rail Joining - Universal Trolley Duplex Rail sections are joined together using a single nut & bolt that secures the Draw-Tight connection. Two steel alignment dowels ensure a seamless joint. Join as many rail sections together as need for any lenght cut. EZ Smart joining systems entails sliding a 48"dovetailed steel bar across the sections to be joined and fastening 12 setscrews to hold them in place.
The Slidable Rail Clamp attaches to work pieces up to 2½" thick as well as to walls, floors, fences and decks or wherever an accurate cut is needed. The slidable rail clamp uses a set of perpendicular L-bolts that enable the release of the rail while the clamp remains attached to the workpiece allowing the rail to slide through the clamp for an extended cut. Make a cut at least half way through the workpiece, stop the saw leaving it in place.
