Cutting a Mortise in a Cabinet Frame Member

Clamp Frame Member Flush with the Workbench Top	Place Rail Parallel with Front Edge and Position Router Centered above the Frame Member

Run the Router Back and Forth Taking about 1/8" each pass until the mortise depth is reached	Mortises completed in the stiles and shoulder cuts completed in the rails

Capture the rail between the fence, stop block and fingerboard. Position the Router Trolley perpendicular to the fence and supported at the same height as the rail members	Run the Router Trolley back and forth across the tenon and use the fine depth control on the router to sneak up on the final thickness of the tenon .
