A Tool Trolley consists of a Trolley Carriage, Four Linear Bearings, and lengths of Duplex Rail. Attached to the carriage are four linear bearings molded to the profile of the Duplex Rail and made of nylon-6 that glide smoothly down an extruded anodized aluminum rail. Mounting plates and Duplex Rails are discussed in the following paragraphs. Also available are Rail Clamps, Rail Gages, Rail Stops and Rail Stabilizers for added convenience and benefits.

You may want to customize a trolley to adapt it to your production process. Some of our customers have modified the trolleys by configuring them to work within their work process such as setting up a cutting station utilizing fixed track and modified trolley carriages.

Part no. 0022 Zero-Clearance-Fit Trolley Carriage has no opening for a circular saw or router or other power tool cutter. The tool is mounted directly on the trolley carriage and the blade or cutter is lowered through the HDPE carriage making a zero-clearance-fit for splinterless cutting.

Part no. 0023 Circular Saw Trolley Carriage has a rectangular opening to receive the saw blade and blade guard and when used with the Circular Saw Mounting Plate (PN 0026) can attach a Zero-Clearance-Insert (PN 0010) between the mounting plate and carriage for splinterless cutting on cross-grain wood.

Part no. 24 Router Trolley Carriage has an oval opening to receive a router cutter. The Router Mounting Plate (PN 0027) provides 4-inches of lateral adjustment for precise positioning of router cutters without having to move the rail position.

Step 2. Select one or more Trolley Mounting Plates

Mounting Plates have a series of predrilled countersunk holes used with cam-lock disks that simplify attachment of the power tool to the Mounting Plate; thus, eliminating the need to drill holes in the base plates of the power tool and in the Trolley Carriage. Mounting plates also retain the Zero-Clearance-Insert for splinterless cutting with a circular saw.

Uses cam-locked disks that do not require drilling into power tool base plate. Includes Zero-Clearance-Insert for splinter-free cutting with a circular saw. Step 3. Select Length of Duplex Rail

Duplex Extruded Aluminum Rails are heat treated for hardness and anodized for a durable finish (no black aluminum oxide to rub off onto your hand). The patented unique rail profile is lightweight yet has the same bend and flex response as a much thicker flat rail. Extensive testing of various rail profiles proved the duplex (double-tubular) shaped rail is superior to other profiles. The Duplex Rail comes in 50" and 30" lengths. Rail sections can be joined together to obtain any desired rail length.

Thirty-inch rail sections are compact and easily portable. Seven 30-inch rail sections (17 1/2 feet) fit in a 5" x 5" x 30" box and weights only 12 lbs. Duplex Rails are light weight, durable and easily extendable to cover any cutting length.

Draw-Tight Connector uses two hardened steel dowels to align the rail sections and then the sections are drawn tight for a seamless butt-joint that is more rigid than an uncut rail of the same length; ensuring that your extended length rail stays straight.
